Super quick entry of transactions, with flexibility to track different items. Very nice app and very cheap, 99 cents a month. You can export all your transactions with the pro membership. It’s a very nice. Impressively easy.

Simple and does what I need without complexities.

I’ve had this app since 2016/2017 when it was free. I gave the subscription a chance it’s $8.99 a year. So I wasn’t complaining about that. But ever since I’ve started having to pay for the app, it’s much worse! It literally freezes mid type! I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It continues to freeze. I don’t know what happened to this app, but the app is really bad now. You can’t even enter anything without it freezing!

A reliable, simple, straightforward app. In a world full of cluttered and chaotic digital solutions, this is a treat!

Great app! I’ve been using the previous app for several years now, and it’s been working great.

I’ve been looking for years for a tracker like this. I can easily categorize and label each dollar I spend that I CHOOSE to track, without having to link a bank, which always creates a mess. The app creates various charts so I can see how much I spent each day, month, etc, and in what categories. I love that I can add and modify categories and tag cash purchases so that I can capture what my bank activity doesn’t. I also love that, unlike other spending trackers, this app doesn’t force you to create a budget.

I have been using the app for a couple of years. Today when I opened it, it was in Japanese instead of English. I did not make this change and I can’t figure out how to change it back to English. I sent an email to the developer and I am still waiting for a response.

How do I change the language back to English, great app.

I feel it’s a little expensive per year for what you get and I’d like to rotate between categories easier. I do like it and think it will help keep track of where we are wasting money. Also please make it easier to adjust the date without losing what you have written down. Thank you! :)

I typed all transactions into the app by hand. Why do I have to pay money to get my data back? It was completely free 1 year ago, that’s why I used it. Now it started to charge money to view the chart. I’m fine with it, but please give my data back

I like this app. It helps me stay organized. I started with the free version and switched to the paid option but I haven’t used the paid features yet. I sometimes forget to input my spending. Maybe notifications? Maybe linking to a debit card?

It simple to use and I can quickly use on a daily basis but have a few problems

Update: developer not only responded but also based on the suggestions below tweaked the app wonderfully. Awesome! Original review (4 stars) Great app and easy to use. Little clutter is exactly what I want. Suggestions: Animations when changing dates or going between menus is too slow. Takes too long and makes editing or adding a few days of info a little frustrating. No clear way to change currency icon. Would like to change it to ¥. The feedback button doesn’t work so I’m writing this here. Too many buttons to edit previous entries. It’s usually faster to just delete and reenter the entry.

I really like how simple and useful this app is even though it is free. The one thing I dislike is that they removed a feature where I could see months expenses in birds eye view. Now I have to scroll to see each month individually.

I liked it and was using it, the colorful charts helped providing quick info on spending and was very easy to use. Now it’s all black and much less convenient to use with the UI. I’m deleting it and getting another app.

Gives you the flexibility to only record the info that matters to you. Highly recommend !

New version crashes often and the overall UI is not intuitive. Why fix it when it ain’t broke? It was so simple to use and that’s the point. Garbage update.

Hate the updated version, it's much more difficult to use and navigate.

This was an excellent simple tracker app. But with the new upgrade, it’s lost its location tag, and every time I try to add a location tag, it crashes on me. I was always able to perform CSV export but they’ve now killed that to last 7 days unless you subscribe to a pro. Looks like I’ll be looking for a new app

Been using this for over an year now...thanks to the app, my savings have grown and expenses contained. Having a line of sight on daily expenses by category really helps me control when I tend to go overboard in a category. Great app!

They hid features like exporting behind an in app purchase and told us it was “bug fixes” in the release notes. Bruh

This is a great no frills bookkeeping app. I wanted something that simply kept track of my spending. It has graph and you can download and print your records.

This app has been a great way for me to track my spending and do it quickly so I don’t feel overwhelmed and get over it. My only complaint would be that I wish you could add categories so that you could track what you’re spending more precisely. Despite the limited categories it’s still the easiest app I’ve tried to track my spending and I love it.

EXACTLY what I was looking for! All the other apps make you link your bank account, but then all my monthly bills get tracked. I always set that money aside at the start of the month so I don’t need them in the app. Is app is PERFECT for tracking my discretionary spending. Extremely easy to use. Simple entry with customizable spending categories and tags to designate which credit card I used. Been using it for 3 month now and already feel so on top of my financial goals. LOVE IT!

I have tried different apps to try and keep track of my spending but this one is my favorite! It’s super simple and efficent and takes little to no time at all. And the monthly graphs perfectly summarizes everything in a very visually appealing way. Overall a great app.

I’ve been using this for a few months now, & it’s so easy and quick I can do it at the same time I buy something.

I absolutely LOVE this app! Keep it as it is. But one change I would recommend is to add another “Income” option. I like to track my Income separately.

Love it. Easy, simple, exactly what I was looking for. Don’t have to set a budget, those of us who don’t have regular pay periods or regular income basis, this is great to keep track of spending. Only thing I can’t figure out how to delete an entry if I accidentally add one I don’t need. Besides that it’s a great app

This is what ive been looking for in a budget tracking app! I dont need any fancy bells and whistles - just a simple, intuitive, fast to log my spending see statistics. Love it!

This is a spending tracker. It is simple and easy to use and I love it! Every other app I’ve tried makes you make a budget or link an bank account, but this is a straightforward tracker. You enter each purchase amount, date and category and it sorts your spending by category in a pie chart for each month. It also is in list format below the chart. A final nice feature is the ability to “tag” purchases. The total for each “tag” is listed at the bottom of the monthly screen. So you can see how much money spent in each tag separate of the categories. This is nice if you want to track spending on multiple credit cards, or separate cash, debit and credit spending out. Then you can see the purchases and the total you owe on each card and make sure it matches your bill, which is a nice way to look out for any fraud on your cards. This has really helped me get an idea of how much I’m actually spending per month, so I know what areas I’ll need to adjust in the future when I move out on my own.

Maybe only free app on iStore for tracking finances. Its simple, clear and quick.

I have only been using this app for a few days, but it has helped me understand where I am spending what, and it isn’t cluttered like some other apps! My only issue is it doesn’t show the current balance for your total amount of funds. It would be useful to see what you are supposed to have and what you are missing. Overall though, great app!

Super easy to categorize and personalize. Simple and straightforward, everything I need. Having an option to taken pictures of the receipt would be great but it’s already awesome the way it is.

The app is simple to use. I love that I’m able to enter my own spendings and add tags to it for further organization. I tried MINT which is more complex because you connect you bank account and all that but it wasn’t accurately showing my spendings since I don’t only spend with cards. This app allows you to enter all forms of payment on your own time. Having to remember can be good for muscle memory. It’ll be nice to have a reminder in the app and there very well could be but I don’t find it necessary. Really helps with monitoring my spendings because I can visually see multiple ways where all my money is going.

Super easy to use, can help you track income too! I’ve cut my spending habits after I saw how much I was spending a month. My only wish is that you could add more emojis/symbols instead of having the file icon on custom tabs.

I use this app to track my expenses and it works perfectly. I didn’t want to track income, only what I am spending and this app is great for that. I like that I can look at the pie graph comparison and also that I can filter to see the annual amounts.

I’ve tried Other apps that track your spending and help you budget and they’re all either too complicated, requires too much set up, or the reports doesn’t give you a clean idea of your leftover money. This app is super simple and just what I was looking for. Ifs easy to add an expense, there aren’t too many things you have to input and the icons and design is very minimal and not confusing.
